About Me

A public procurement practitioner with extensive experience initiating, executing, and managing complex procurement contracts, including but not limited to developing solicitations, conducting pre-solicitation/proposal conferences, source selection, conducting price/cost analysis, forming contracts, managing contract changes, and conducting contract close-out.

I have acquired the experience and knowledge necessary to help organizations appropriately select the right contract type that aligns with acquisition requirements and is efficient and cost-effective. I also know how to use the right contracting vehicle to produce the best overall results in an organization’s best interest.

Government/Public procurement has complex bureaucratic procedures, regulations, and compliance requirements. I have honed the ability to navigate complex bureaucratic procedures, regulations, and compliance requirements. My strategies ensure that organizations stay compliant with these highly regulated rules, thereby reducing the risk of legal complications.

Anticipating potential dissatisfaction by bidders/proposers (suppliers, vendors, service providers) or interested parties about contract awards or the process leading to contract awards, I have developed a proactive approach. Over the years, I have gained the technical know-how from hands-on experience and knowledge base to make the procurement process and bid/proposal evaluation free, fair, transparent, and as protest-proof as possible.

I am passionate about developing and utilizing my procurement/contract management skills, strategic thinking and problem-solving, negotiation skills, cost savings & cost avoidance strategies to help organizations (particularly public entities) achieve their acquisition/procurement goals. I consider myself someone who is eager and hungry for continuous professional development and competence, and I strive to stay up-to-date with the latest trends in procurement/contracting rules, laws, and best practices. As a result of my continued pursuit of professional knowledge that will enhance my ability to serve effectively and efficiently, I have received professional designations as a Certified Public Procurement Officer (CPPO) and a Certified Professional Contract Manager (CPCM). Additionally, I am a recipient of the National Institute of Governmental Procurement; Certified Procurement Professional (NIG-CPP) Certification.

So, when I work with any organization, they will benefit from my extensive professional experience and in-depth knowledge of public procurement/contract management and administration, leading to organizational success.
